Estilo Talentoso

After running second four times and third once, Estilo Talentoso earned her first career win in her sixth start with a 3 ¾-length score June 17, 2020, at Gulfstream Park. She followed with a runner up finish at Gulfstream on a sloppy track in the Azalea Stakes in her next race. Two starts later, Estilo Talentoso closed out her 3-year-old season with a front-running, one-length win in the Escena Stakes going a mile in August at Gulfstream.

The Maclean’s Music filly returned from a 4 ½-month layoff with a third-place finish in the Wayward Lass Stakes at 1 1/16 miles before shortening back up to sprints. Estilo Talentoso ran second in both the Grade 3 Runhappy Barbara Fritchie Stakes at Laurel Park and Grade 1 Madison Stakes at Keeneland, before finishing third in the Grade 1 Derby City Distaff S. presented by Kendall-Jackson Winery on the May 1 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve undercard.

Estilo Talentoso earned a breakthrough, first graded stakes win June 4, 2021, at Belmont Park, where she rallied willingly late on a sloppy track to prevail in the Grade 3 Bed o’ Roses Stakes.
