Dreamlike finished third when making his third career start in the Grade 2 $750,000 Wood Memorial Stakes at Aqueduct on April 8, 2023, losing a three-way win photo b a head behind winning longshot Lord Miles and favored runner-up, favorite Hit Show. Dreamlike was entered in the 12-horse field of the Wood Memorial as a maiden, but was still highly-regarded and sent off as the 3.30-1 second choice in the field coming off of back-to-back second-place finishes in his first two career outings in maiden races at Gulfstream Park.
