Dashman won his maiden race as a 3-year-old in his fourth career outing in a 1 1/8-mile turf race at Ellis Park on July 22, 2024. Later that season he finished fourth in a six-horse field in the Grade 3 Jockey Club Derby Invitational going 1 3/8 miles at Belmont at the Big A on Oct. 5.
The first career stakes win came for Dashman in his 4-year-old debut in the Grade 3 $215,000 William L. McKnight Stakes going 1 1/2 miles on the turf at Gulfstream Park on Jan. 25, 2025, when he topped a field of 12 by a nose at 19.20-1 odds from post 12.
