Crimson Advocate began her career with a third-place finish in a 2-year-old maiden race at Keeneland on April 26, 2023, but wasted no more time finding her way to the winner's circle, which she did in her second lifetime start in the $100,000 Royal Palm Juvenile Fillies Stakes going five furlongs on the turf at Gulfstream Park on May 13. Crimson Advocate went wire-to-wire and won by 3 1/2 lengths.

Crimson Advocate made her next start in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot on June 21, 2023 as a part of a 26-horse field racing a straightaway five furlongs. Crimson Advocate raced to the lead and narrowly held on by a nose to secure the victory with jockey John Velazquez aboard.
