Cocktail Moments was very impressive on debut at Churchill Downs on Nov. 27, 2021. She rated in 10th place early on, but gobbled up ground in the stretch and drew off late to win by 9 1/4 lengths going away at 26-1.
In her next start, Cocktail Moments was the odds-on favorite in her stakes debut, the Untapable Stakes at Fair Grounds on Dec. 26. She could not produce that dramatic closing kick again and ended up third.

After a few months on the sidelines, Cocktail Moments returned to the races in the Grade 2 Davona Dale Stakes Presented by FanDuel at Gulfstream Park on Mar. 5. She finished third after making a mild move on the final turn. In her final attempt to qualify for the Longines Kentucky Oaks, Cocktail Moments won a photo for second in the Grade 1 Central Bank Ashland Stakes at Keeneland on Apr. 8. That secured her a spot in the Churchill starting gate on the first Friday in May.
Cocktail Moments sold for $190,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2019.
