Chewing Gum earned his first career graded stakes placing in the Grade 3 Belmont Turf Sprint Invitational on Oct. 4, 2020. He finished second, beaten 3 1/4 lengths, after saving ground the whole way.
In his second start of 2021, Chewing Gum became Grade 1-placed when he finished second in the Grade 1 Jackpocket Jaipur Stakes at Belmont Park on June 5. He finished two lengths behind his stablemate, Casa Creed, at 28-1.
