Into Champagne

Into Champagne began her career with a dazzling debut victory by 6 ¾ lengths June 16, 2023, at Ellis Park. She did not make her second start until Jan. 7, 2024, when she overcame a troubled start to win the Glitter Woman Stakes by 1 ¼ lengths in her first race as a 3-year-old.

Tested next in pair of graded stakes on the Kentucky Oaks trail, Into Champagne was right in the mix entering the stretch in both the Grade 2 Davona Dale Stakes Presented by FanDuel TV March 2 and the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Oaks Presented by FanDuel TV on March 30, both at Gulfstream Park, but faded to finish second by a half-length in the former and a well-beaten third in the latter.
