Brickyard Ride

Brickyard Ride led from start to finish to win his second career race by a nose Oct. 11, 2019. In 2020, the Clubhouse Ride colt won four of nine starts, all while leading from start to finish with two coming on turf and two wins on the dirt.

Brickyard Ride opened his 4-year-old campaign in 2021 with a front-running 3 ¼-length runaway victory in the Don Valpredo California Cup Sprint Stakes Jan. 16 at Santa Anita Park. Next tested for the first time against graded stakes competition in the Grade 2 San Carlos Stakes, Brickyard Ride again led from start to finish and proved much the best again in another dominant performance. He picked up another stakes victory in the Thor's Echo Stakes at Santa Anita on June 12.

After two defeats in graded stakes company at Del Mar, Brickyard Ride went to the sidelines for the remainder of his 2021 season. He made his 2022 debut a winning one, with an easy victory in the Don Valpredo California Cup Sprint Stakes at Santa Anita on Jan. 15. He rolled through his next three Santa Anita starts easily, taking the Tiznow Stakes on Feb. 21, the Sensational Star Stakes on grass on Mar. 20, and the Grade 3 Kona Gold Stakes on Apr. 30. In all three of those races, he went gate-to-wire and was not seriously challenged. His winning streak ended at four when he checked in fifth in the Triple Bend Stakes at Santa Anita on May 29, tiring at odds of 3-10 after setting a pressured pace.
