Bob and Jackie made his stakes debut in the Eddie Logan Stakes at Santa Anita Park on Dec. 28, 2018. He dueled on the outside with Manhattan Up most of the way, then dismissed that rival's challenge and held on for a one-length win.
After that win, Bob and Jackie went to the sidelines for a while, and did not return until the Let It Ride Stakes at Del Mar on Nov. 9, 2019. He showed no signs of rust, holding on gamely to win by a nose. After a ninth-place finish in the Grade 2 Mathis Brothers Mile Stakes next out, Bob and Jackie went back to the sidelines.

On July 11, 2020, Bob and Jackie made his seasonal debut a winning one, taking the Wickerr Stakes at Del Mar by a neck. He rated off the pace early on and got up to nail early leader Kiwi's Dream.
Following a string of near-misses, Bob and Jackie finally won his first graded stakes race on Dec. 26, 2021 at Santa Anita Park. He set the early pace in the Grade 2 San Gabriel Stakes, which was taken off the turf and run on dirt, and on for the victory at 5-1.
Bob and Jackie was originally campaigned by his breeders, Zayat Stables LLC. He was sold for $190,000 at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock sale in 2020 to Calvin Nguyen and Joey Tran.
