Following a second-place finish in a first-level allowance race at Churchill Downs on Nov. 7, Bees and Honey went off at 13.10-1 in the Grade 3 Comely Stakes at Aqueduct on Nov. 26. She made a strong four-wide move entering the stretch and won by 2 3/4 lengths. Her win marked the first graded stakes victory in the career of trainer Reeve McGaughey, son of Hall of Fame trainer Shug McGaughey.
