Admire Daytona finished second twice in three starts as a 2-year-old in 2024 but was unable to earn his first victory until his 3-year-old debut Feb. 8, 2025, at Tokyo, where he pulled away to a four-length win.
The bay colt by 2016 champion sprinter Drefong was tested next on the Japan Road to the Kentucky Derby and finished fourth in the Hyacinth Stakes, a race won by another Kentucky Derby hopeful in Luxor Café.
