Rock Your World made his career debut in a maiden special weight race at six furlongs on the turf at Santa Anita Park on Jan. 1, 2021. He rated just off the fast early pace, then drew away in the stretch for a strong victory under jockey Joel Rosario.
For his second start, Rock Your World stretched out to one mile in the Pasadena Stakes at Santa Anita on Feb. 27. As the 11-10 second favorite, he prevailed by 2 1/4 lengths, covering the distance in 1:34.39 over the firm turf course.

Rock Your World made his dirt debut in the Grade 1 Runhappy Santa Anita Derby on Apr. 3. He set a fast early pace, then drew off in the stretch for an impressive victory. With that win, he earned 100 qualifying points towards the Grade 1 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve.
Rock Your World endured a rough trip in the Kentucky Derby and finished 17th as he was jostled early and jockey Joel Rosario lost an iron. The colt subsequently finished sixth in the Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets and took some time off before returning to finish second behind Medina Spirit in the Shared Belief Stakes Aug. 29 at Del Mar.
Rock Your World sold for $650,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale in 2019. His dam (mother), Charm the Maker, was a two-time stakes winner on the Southern California circuit.
