The 36th running of the $1 million Pacific Classic Stakes at Del Mar, one of three final Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series “Win and You’re In” races for the Longines Breeders’ Cup Classic this year, drew a field of 11 that includes nine graded stakes winners.
Saturday’s afternoon card at Del Mar is stacked. The 11-race card features big fields, four graded stakes races, and is topped by the Grade 1, $1 million Pacific Classic Stakes.
