Jockey Umberto Rispoli will ride morning-line favorite Journalism in the 151st Kentucky Derby May 3 at Churchill Downs. Rispoli took a few minutes to discuss the rising star colt by Curlin, who enters the Derby on a four-race winning streak, as well as his approach to the race tactically and mentally.
Rispoli calls Journalism a “special horse” and the best dirt horse he has ever ridden.
