Korea Racing Authority, an organization launched by the South Korean government to promote and manage Thoroughbred racing in that country, made headlines in the U.S. when the colt Knicks Go scored a 70-1 upset win in the 2018 Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders’ Futurity. He went on to place in two more stakes races through his next 11 starts in 2018 and 2019, including a runner-up finish in the 2018 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile.

After being transferred to trainer Brad Cox in late 2019, Knicks Go came back better than ever in 2020, winning his first three starts capped off by the Big Ass Fans Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile at Keeneland. In 2021, he was even better, winning three Grade 1 races, including the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes and the Longines Breeders' Cup Classic.
