Mossarosa is owned by Nena Moss, widow of Thoroughbred owner Joseph Moss. The Mosses kept racehorses with Nick Zito and in 2014 earned their first graded stakes win when Spot captured the Grade 2 Swale Stakes. Joseph Moss passed away later that year and Nena established her new stable name.
Mossarosa owns Frammento, who ran in the 2015 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes.
