Peach Tie

Peach Tie, a Kentucky-bred Preservationist filly, won her career debut, a six-furlong maiden claiming race on dirt, Aug. 13, 2025, at Colonial Downs. She then moved up to stakes company and finished third in the Presque Isle Debutante on an all-weather track but resumed winning form when moved back to dirt, scoring in all three of her remaining starts during her 2-year-old season, including a seven-furlong stakes victory at Laurel Park.

The chestnut filly trained by Brittany Russell began her 3-year-old campaign with another stakes win at Laurel, taking the seven-furlong Wide Country Stakes by three lengths. She finished second by a head when stretched out to a mile in Laurel’s Beyond the Wire Stakes in late March, but returned to the winner’s circle with her first graded stakes score May 15, 2026, with a sharp 1 ½-length victory in the Grade 3, six-furlong Miss Preakness Stakes.

Peach Tie was bred by former Ky. Gov. Brereton Jones and is owned by his estate. She is out of the winning Orb mare Belles Orb.
