We’re less than two weeks away from horse racing’s biggest event of the year, and contenders for the 152nd Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve continue to arrive at Churchill Downs in advance of the cutoff date of Saturday, April 25.

Much of the horse racing coverage on TV, streaming, and radio this week will be focused on late developments regarding the Kentucky Derby field and news on how the horses are training. Two outlets will be providing extensive on-site reporting at the track (see below) and many media companies already have reporters and photographers at Churchill Downs producing social media content as well.

In terms of live racing in the Bluegrass State, the Keeneland spring meet ends Friday, April 24, and then Churchill Downs begins its spring meet Saturday, April 25, kicking off Kentucky Derby week. The Kentucky Derby and Longines Kentucky Oaks post-position draws will take place Saturday at the track between the third and fourth races (2:15 p.m.-2:45 p.m.) and will be broadcast live on WAVE-3 in Louisville, FanDuel TV, and KentuckyDerby.com.

Churchill Downs and TwinSpires started their “Kentucky Derby Morning Works” show on April 17, and it continues daily through Thursday, April 30 on the Kentucky Derby’s Facebook, X, and YouTube channels. The show runs each morning from 6:45 a.m.-7:45 a.m. ET and highlights the exclusive training window for Derby and Oaks contenders from 7:15 a.m.-7:30 a.m. ET, with analysis from Joe Kristufek, Kaitlin Benson, Tony Calo, and Kevin Kilroy plus special guests.

FanDuel TV begins its “Breakfast at the Kentucky Derby” on-site coverage Friday running through April 30, starting at 7 a.m. ET and also focusing on the exclusive Derby training time. The program features reporting and analysis from FanDuel’s Caton Bredar, Joe Talamo, Simon Bray, Mike Joyce, Andie Biancone, Joaquin Jaime, and Scott Hazelton. It can be viewed on FanDuel TV and on FanDuel Racing’s YouTube channel.

Live racing from Keeneland’s final spring meet cards highlights FanDuel TV’s daily coverage, along with Churchill’s opener and action from tracks including Santa Anita Park, Gulfstream ParkLaurel Park, and Woodbine, whose 2026 meet began April 18.

Additional coverage of Keeneland’s popular meet is available via the Keeneland livestream on keeneland.com and the track’s YouTube channel, and on “Today at Keeneland,” a 30-minute preview show before each racecard hosted by Keeneland Director of Communications Gabby Gaudet and analyst Scott Hazelton. “Today at Keeneland” streams on keeneland.com, YouTube, and several other outlets.

Racing from Aqueduct and Oaklawn Park is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” from Thursday, April 23, through Sunday, April 26. The NYRA-produced show airs on FOX Sports – check the below channels and times.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.

Here’s a rundown of this week’s horse racing coverage on TV, streaming, and radio – and check ABR’s site on Sunday, April 26 for a comprehensive Kentucky Derby week schedule leading up to the “most exciting two minutes in sports” May 2.
