The schedule for the upcoming weekend in horse racing across North America is in flux as several racetracks cancel cards and postpone stakes races due to the effects of a winter storm that blanketed nearly the entire eastern half of the United States.

As of Jan. 29, one of the three Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve qualifying points races scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31, has been postponed. The Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn Park will now be run on Friday, Feb. 6. Another Jan. 31 Derby prep, the Withers Stakes at Aqueduct, will possibly be rescheduled as well due to frigid temperatures in the New York City area, but as of this writing it is still planned to be held.

The third Derby prep originally set for Saturday is the Holy Bull Stakes at Gulfstream Park, and that race offering 42 qualifying points to the top five finishers will run and be televised live on FanDuel TV. The Holy Bull will also be streamed live on NBC’s Peacock platform during a 90-minute show from 4:30-6 p.m. that’s part of the 1/ST Racing Tour on NBC series.

If the Withers does run in New York, it will be broadcast live as part of NYRA’s “America’s Day at the Races” show airing on FOX Sports. “America’s Day at the Races” is (as of this writing) scheduled to air Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 1 – check the below schedule for channels and times.
