Wolfie's Dynaghost

Wolfie’s Dynaghost began his career with an eye-catching win in November 2020 at Aqueduct, where he opened a clear lead in the stretch and scooted to a 1 ½-length win. He did not race again for more than 5 ½ months, returning in the Grade 3 Peter Pan Stakes in May 2021, when he set the pace and then faded to finish fifth.

He won a pair of allowance races in 2021, one of the dirt and one on grass and finished third in the Better Talk Now Stakes at Saratoga Race Course.

Wolfie’s Dynaghost won two of eight starts in 2022, including an allowance win on the synthetic surface at Gulfstream Park and his first stakes win, a front-running three-lengths score, in the Bert Allen Stakes at Colonial Downs. He also came very close to securing his first graded stakes win in 2022, finishing second by a half-length in the Grade 3 Kitten’s Joy Appleton Stakes in April at Gulfstream and second in the Grade 2 Poker Stakes in June at Belmont Park.

The Ghostzapper gelding opened his 5-year-old season in 2023 with back-to-back wins. He set a new track record of 1:37.74 for one-mile and 70 yards on the synthetic surface at Gulfstream Park in a handicap race and then scored his first black-type win with a front-running 2 ½-length victory in the Twinspires Kentucky Cup Classic Stakes on the all-weather surface at Turfway Park. In November 2023, Wolfie’s Dynaghost led every step of the way in a 4 ½-length win in the Grade 2 Autumn Stakes at Woodbine to earn his first graded stakes victory. He concluded his 2023 campaign with a win in Turfway Park's Prairie Bayou Stakes on Dec. 16.

The next time Wolfie's Dynaghost found the winner's circle was on June 28, 2025, in the Prince George's County Stakes at Laurel. He then recorded a second win of 2025 in an overnight handicap race at Colonial Downs on Sept. 13.

Wolfie's Dynaghost stepped back up against graded stakes company in the Grade 3 $300,000 River City Stakes going 1 1/8 miles on the turf at Churchill Downs on Nov. 8. Facing a field of 11 in the River City, Wolfie's Dynaghost got out front and never looked back enroute to a 2 3/4-length wire-to-wire victory. He later ended the year in fine fashion and capped off a successful 2025 campaign with a win in the Grade 3 $200,000 Ft. Lauderdale Stakes going 1 1/8 miles on the turf Dec. 20 at Gulfstream Park.

Wolfie’s Dynaghost was produced by the Dynaformer mare Dynaire, who also produced Grade 1 winner Sadler’s Joy, by Kitten’s Joy.
