Mackenzie Kirker-Head
Mackenzie Kirker-Head grew up riding horses on her grandparents' farm in Sturbridge, Mass., which hosted a small Thoroughbred breeding operation. She attended the races at Suffolk Downs and Rockingham Park, falling in love with racing while cheering her family’s horses.
In 2013, she spent the summer in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for an internship with the New York Racing Association, cementing her interest pursuing a career in the industry. Upon graduating from Tufts University, she accepted a position with Trakus, based out of Boston.
