Born in Northern California and raised in Michigan, Kathleen (her friends call her Kat) is a fine art photographer specializing in intimate portraits of horses. Her work includes behind-the-scenes images from the backside of tracks in Southern California, including Los Alamitos Racing, where she acted as the “official” photographer for Sherman Racing and documented California Chrome’s preparations for the Pennsylvania Derby and 2014 Breeders’ Cup.
