Swift Delivery may have finished second in his stakes debut, the Aug. 31 Toronto Cup Stakes at Woodbine, but that has not dampened the spirit of National Football League superstar and part-owner Travis Kelce.

“We still have a lot of faith in him,” Kelce said during a Sept. 4 episode of the “New Heights Podcast” that he co-hosts alongside his brother and fellow Super Bowl champion, Jason.

When you access your favorite streaming service such as Netflix or Hulu, you expect to find a blockbuster movie like “Barbie” or “Twister.”

Mega stars like Tom Cruise or Meryl Streep. Maybe “The Rock.”

But coming soon to your television or streaming device may be ... Mike Repole?

Swifties, football fans, and horse racing fans learned Aug. 27 that Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro Travis Kelce became a part-owner of a 3-year-old racehorse named Swift Delivery.

Barry Irwin, founder and CEO of Team Valor International, announced Aug. 27 that the Zoldan Family, owners of Phantom Fireworks, alongside Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl-winning tight end Travis Kelce, have recently acquired a significant share of Team Valor’s interest in the 3-year-old gelding Swift Delivery, which Team Valor owns with Gary Barber.

The National Thoroughbred League (NTL) announced Aug. 26 the addition of two-time NFL MVP and Baltimore Ravens superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson as its latest team owner. Jackson will be a lead owner as part of a group that brings the Maryland Colts to the NTL.

The season kicks off this Sunday, Sept. 1, with the NTL Nashville Cup presented by Sticker Mule, featuring more than $2 million in purses and a $1 million signature race.
