Toby Keith has been breeding and racing Thoroughbreds for nearly two decades. (Photos by Eclipse Sportswire)

For over two decades, Toby Keith has been a powerhouse in country music with twenty songs topping the Billboard Hot Country charts. Songs like “I Love This Bar” and “Red Solo Cup” have transcended country music and have infiltrated pop culture. He's sold over 40 million albums worldwide, been inducted in the Songwriters Hall of Fame and collaborated with icons like Willie Nelson.

At just 27 years old, Arianna Spadoni has already lived several lives in horse racing. The irony in her story is that she never planned on a career in racing.

North American Thoroughbred racing has some pretty iconic tracks, and if you’re like me you’d like to visit them all. But how do you prioritize? Each of the tracks below is not only recognizable but comes with its own unique charm and energy. From Churchill Downs to Saratoga Race Course; get the scoop, learn the necessary details and start making your racetrack bucket list!

He is the poster boy for the old adage, “breed the best to the best and hope for the best.” His mother is Zenyatta, racing's iconic “dancing queen,” winner of 19 of 20 races, whose fan base has not skipped a beat since her retirement in 2010. His father is Tapit, lord of the breeding shed, leading sire of 2015, who commands a lofty $300,000 stud fee.

Blaring great tunes and singing along can build momentum for an outing to the track or a watch party for a big race. What could be better for these occasions than a custom-made horse racing playlist?

This eclectic group of songs comes from country, Americana, show tunes and rock (including traditional, southern and experimental). Though they may not have won Grammys, this musical diversity shows horse racing transcends genres and can be for everyone.
