With roots dating back to the 16th century, horse racing in England has always been a highly distinguished sport and viewing experience. However, to say that horse racing is limited to its definition as a sport is undermining its cultural traditions and historical importance.

Horse racing action on the road to the May 1 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve continues, with three qualifying points prep races scheduled over the holiday weekend that extends to Presidents’ Day on Monday, Feb. 15.
