Time to Dazzle

Time to Dazzle, a daughter of promising young sire Not This Time, won her debut Sept. 17, 2023, by a widening three lengths at Woodbine for owner Tracy Farmer and trainer Mark Casse. Her connections then shipped the filly south to Keeneland and stretched her out from a mile to 1 1/16 miles in the Grade 2 Jessamine Stakes Presented by Keeneland November, but Time to Dazzle disappointed instead, finishing ninth.

The filly returned on Dec. 15 in a one mile and seventy-yard allowance optional claiming race on Gulfstream Park’s all-weather track (originally schedule for turf), and again won impressively by 2 ½ lengths. She made her 3-year-old debut shortly afterward in the Jan. 6, 2024, Ginger Brew Stakes on turf at Gulfstream and finished seventh, and then had no success again in a Gulfstream stakes race on turf, checking in a well-defeated tenth in the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride Stakes.

After that, Time to Dazzle was given a break until July 27, when she returned in the Grade 3 Ontario Colleen Stakes, held over one mile on turf at Woodbine. She relished the return to the course she had notched her first victory on, leading from start to finish and scoring by 4 ½ lengths under jockey Sahin Civaci, who had ridden her to that maiden win. Time to Dazzle closed out her 3-year-old season with back-to-back fourth-place finishes in stakes races at Kentucky Downs in September and Aqueduct in October.

Following a 6 ½-month layoff Time To Dazzle returned to the races May 4, 2025 in the License Fee Stakes at Aqueduct and finished second. Two starts later, she finished third while beaten by three-quarters of a length in the Grade 3 Caress Stakes at Saratoga. She then finished fourth and second in two races at the Kentucky Downs meet.

Time to Dazzle earned the second stakes win of her career Oct. 12 at Keeneland, where she closed from last of seven to take command in the stretch of the Grade 2 Franklin Stakes and surged away to prevail by 3 ½ lengths.

Time to Dazzle is out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Staria, who has also produced half-sibling Sir Genghis, a multiple stakes winner and earner of over $500,000.
