Bio
Serenas Ghost, a dark bay or brown Girvin filly, impressed in her debut race Sept. 11, 2026, at Horseshoe Indianapolis, rallying from stalking spot with a rail bid to win a one-mile turf maiden race by a length at odds of 13-1. Her connections were confident enough off of that victory to move her up in class and contest the Jessamine Stakes Presented by Keeneland Sales Oct. 2 at Keeneland, a “Win and You’re In” qualifier for the John Deere Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies turf.

With Luis Saez riding, Serenas Ghost again rallied from a stalking position in midstretch to take aim on leader Seneca Park. The 23-1 longshot moved from the outside of that foe to the inside and found room in a tight spot on the rail to overtake Seneca Park by 1 ¼ lengths, earning her second career win and a Breeders’ Cup berth as well
Serena’s Ghost is out of the stakes-winning Tiznow mare Sirenusa and is from the family of Grade 1 winners and sires Roman Ruler and El Corredor.
