Naughty Gal, a Florida-bred daughter of Into Mischief owned by Holy Cow Stable and trained by D. Wayne Lukas, finished fourth in her career debut June 10, 2022, at Churchill Downs but improved greatly in her second start under the twin spires, winning a six-furlong sprint on July 4 by 9 ¼ lengths.
She shipped to Saratoga for the Grade 3 Adirondack Stakes on Aug. 7, and led at every point of call in the 6 ½-furlong race to win by 2 ½ lengths.
