Mindframe opened his career with a dominant victory by 13 ¾ lengths from off the pace in a seven-furlong sprint March 30, 2024, at Gulfstream Park. That victory certainly opened some eyes to the raw ability of the 3-year-old colt by Constitution, and he did nothing to stifle the hype in his second start when he led from beginning to end in a 7 ½-length romp on the May 4 undercard on Kentucky Derby Day at Churchill Downs.

Mindframe's stellar 3-year-old campaign then took him to the Belmont Stakes, which was run at 1 1/4 miles at Saratoga. Mindframe came in second by a half a length behind Dornoch in the third jewel of the 2024 Triple Crown. He then followed up that effort with another solid effort in defeat when second to Dornoch again in the Grade 1 Haskell Stakes at Monmouth Park on July 20 in what turned out to be his final start of the season.

Mindframe was sidelined for seven months until he resurfaced for the start of his 4-year-old year in the Grade 2 $200,000 Gulfstream Park Mile presented by Domestic Product on March 1, 2025, at Gulfstream Park. Sent off as the prohibitive 0.10-1 favorite in an eight-horse field in the Gulfstream Park Mile, Mindframe stalked the pace close-up and made an effortless move to the lead before drawing off to an easy 1 1/4-length victory.

Mindframe faced an even tougher test in his second start of his 4-year-old season and indeed passed that test with a game victory in the Grade 1 $1 million Churchill Downs Stakes presented by Ford going seven furlongs on a sloppy track at Churchill Downs on May 3. Mindframe scored a neck victory in a multi-horse blanket finish atop an all-star field that included Nysos, Mullikin, Book'em Danno, and Banishing going the seven furlongs in a winning time of 1:22.64. It was Mindframe's first career Grade 1 win.

Mindframe was right back at Churchill Downs in his next start which came in the Grade 1 $1 million Stephen Foster Stakes going 1 1/8 at Churchill on June 28. Sent off as the 1.88-1 favorite atop a six-horse field in the Foster that included Mystik Dan, First Mission, and Sierra Leone Mindframe delivered the biggest win of his career for the final winning margin of a length in a time of 1:47.48.

A $600,000 purchase at the 2022 Keeneland September yearling sale, Mindframe was produced by the stakes-winning Street Sense mare Walk of Stars.
