Millie Girl launched her career with two consecutive victories, both at seven furlongs on the turf at Woodbine, including a half-length score in her 2-year-old career bow on July 16, 2022. As a 3-year-old in 2023, Millie Girl hit the board in a string of graded stakes races at Woodbine, including a third in the Grade 2 Royal North Stakes, a third in the Grade 2 Nassau Stakes, and a second in the Grade 3 Seaway Stakes. She broke through with her first career stakes win at Woodbine on Oct.

Keeping to the upwardly mobile momentum trend in her career, Millie Girl won her second stakes race in a row on Nov. 11 when she rallied from near the rear of a 12-horse field to win the Grade 3 $150,000 Maple Leaf Stakes going 1 1/4 miles on the all-weather track at Woodbine by two lengths.
Millie Girl is trained by Catherine Day Phillips. She was bred in Ontario by the sire Hard Spun out of the mare Mendocino Beano by Smart Strike.
