Linda's Gift

Linda's Gift began her racing career as a 3-year-old in 2022 and won her maiden race in her second career start on April 24, 2022 at Gulfstream Park. She later proceeded to win her second career race a year later on Aug. 26, 2023 in an allowance optional claimer at Del Mar.

Linda's Gift had her career breakthrough on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23, 2023 when she won the Grade 3, $100,000 Red Carpet Stakes for fillies and mares going 1 3/8 miles on the turf at Del Mar. Linda's Gift made the lead in the Red Carpet, slowed down the fractions, and went wire-to-wire to win by three-quarters of a length as the 2.90-1 second choice on the tote board in a field of seven.

Linda's Gift got off to a fast start in her 5-year-old season in 2024 with a win in the Astra Stakes at Santa Anita on Jan. 21 followed by another win on Feb. 24 in the Grade 3 $100,000 Santa Ana Stakes going 1 1/4 miles at Santa Anita. In the Santa Ana, Linda's Gift pressed the pace and took control and drew off to a comfortable 3 3/4-length win as the 1.30-1 favorite in an eight-horse field.

Linda's Gift is trained by Richard Mandella. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Arrogate out of the mare Americana by Tapit.
