Indy Bay won her maiden race as a 3-year-old in her third lifetime outing on March 1, 2025, at Gulfstream Park and then wasted no time piling on more wins during her 3-year-old season. She added an allowance win at Oaklawn Park on April 25 in her next start and then won her first stakes race when she took the Jersey Girl Stakes at Saratoga on June 8. In her first graded stakes assignment she finished third in the Grade 3 Victory Ride Stakes at Saratoga on July 3.

Indy Bay scored her first graded stakes victory in the rich Grade 2 $750,000 Charles Town Oaks going seven furlongs at Charles Town on Aug. 22. Sent off as the 5-2 second choice on the tote board in a 10-horse field in the Charles Town Oaks, Indy Bay pressed the pace throughout and took over from favorite Vodka With a Twist in the stretch and prevailed by a margin of 1 3/4 lengths under jockey Irad Ortiz Jr.
Indy Bay is trained by Saffie Joseph Jr. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Take Charge Indy out of the mare Discovery Bay by Speightstown.
