Next out, Free Like a Girl asserted her status among Louisiana-bred 2-year-olds with a dominant 18-length win in the Louisiana Jewel Stakes at Delta Downs on Oct. 22. Stepping up to open company next out, she easily answered the class challenge with a 1 1/2-length win in the My Trusty Cat Stakes at Delta on Nov. 19.

Free Like a Girl started her 3-year-old season in the LA Bred Premier Starlet Stakes at Delta on Feb. 5, 2022. As the heavy 3-10 favorite, she set the early pace and pulled away for her fifth stakes win.
