Dance to the Music won her career debut as a 2-year-old with her maiden win coming on July 24, 2021 at Del Mar. Her next start was in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante on Sept. 4 where she finished second. She ended her three-race juvenile campaign with a sixth-place finish in the Grade 1 Chandelier Stakes at Santa Anita on Oct. 10.

Dance to the Music's first start at the age of 3 was on May 7, 2022, and she was victorious that day in an allowance optional claiming race at Santa Anita for her second career win. She only made three more starts in 2022, with the best finish among those outings being a second-place finish in the Grade 3 Desert Stormer Stakes at Santa Anita on June 4.
Dance to the Music scored her first career stakes victory a year later in the same race in a 2023 edition of the Grade 3 Desert Stormer Stakes. Sent off as the 6-5 favorite in a field of four fillies and mares, Dance to the Music won a speed duel and held on for a one-length victory in a six-furlong time of 1:10.45.
Dance to the Music is trained by Mark Glatt. She was bred in Kentucky by the sire Maclean's Music out of the mare Beautified by Congrats.
