Carribean Caper made waves in her debut, which came in a maiden special weight race at Fair Grounds on Feb. 13, 2021. She crushed the field by eight lengths, going six furlongs in 1:09.88. Next out, she won a first-level allowance optional claiming race at Keeneland handily, winning by 4 1/2 lengths on Apr. 2.
After a few months off, Carribean Caper returned to the races at Ellis Park on July 2. She won by 4 1/2 lengths as the 0.20-1 favorite, setting her up well for the Runhappy Audobon Oaks at Ellis on Aug. 15. She wore down early leader Magic Quest for a one-length win.
