Godolphin homebred Bold Act made his North American debut in the Grade 3 Sycamore Stakes at Keeneland on Oct. 13, 2023, and the 3-year-old New Approach gelding defeated an accomplished group of older rivals with a sizzling late rally, edging pacesetter Cellist by three quarters of a length at the finish of the 1 ½-mile turf race.
The gelding had won five of 11 starts in England and France prior to his trip to Kentucky, including a listed stakes at Deauville on Aug. 13. He is out of the stakes-winning Dubawi mare Dancing Sands.
