Blame Debbie won her second career start at Keeneland in October 2019, taking a 1 1/16-mile dirt race by 3 ¾ lengths. She then finished third in the Grade 1 Demoiselle Stakes at Aqueduct but after finishing eighth in her 2020 debut on dirt, she was switched to turf by trainer Graham Motion. The Blame filly disappointed in her first start on grass, checking in 11th of 12 in the Florida Oaks at Tampa Bay Downs, but improved after that, and in September she finished first in a turf allowance at Kentucky Downs but was disqualified and placed third.

Motion wheeled his filly back for a start in the Grade 3 Rood and Riddle Dowager Stakes at Keeneland on Oct. 18, and Blame Debbie responded with a game head win over Always Shopping after setting the pace in the 1 ½-mile race.
Blame Debbie made her 2021 debut in the Searching Stakes at Pimlico on June 13, 2021. With Victor Carrasco in the saddle, she went gate-to-wire in the 1 1/2-mile contest. She covered the distance over a turf course labeled "good" in 2:38.50.
Owned by Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners, Michael Cloonan and Timothy Thornton, Blame Debbie is out of the Invasor mare Jadwa and is from the family of European champion Aljabr.
