Bellezza (IRE)

Bellezza began her career in Europe and made her first seven starts in Ireland with two wins, including a stakes victory on an all-weather surface, and five top-three finishes.

Bellezza made her 4-year-old and U.S. debut in the $175,000 Sheepshead Bay Stakes May 2, 2025, at Belmont at the Big A. She stalked a slow pace from third in the 1 3/8-mile turf race and accelerated powerfully to win by 1 ½ lengths at 10.20-1 odds.

Following a third-place finish in the Grade 1 New York Stakes at Saratoga on June 6 and a second-place finish in the Grade 2 Glens Falls Stakes at Saratoga on July 27, Bellezza broke through with the biggest win of her career so far when victorious in the Grade 2 $500,000 Flower Bowl Stakes going 1 3/8 miles on the turf at Saratoga on Aug. 30. Sent off as the 2.75-1 second choice on the tote board in a seven-horse field in the Flower Bowl, Bellezza made a last-to-first closing move to win drawing away by 2 1/4 lengths. The Flower Bowl was a Breeders' Cup Challenge Series "Win and You're In" race, and with her victory, Bellezza earned a fees-paid automatic berth into the Maker's Mark Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf Nov. 1 at Del Mar.

Bellezza was produced by the stakes-placed Galileo mare Terrific, a full-sister (same dam [mother], same sire [father]) to Grade 1 winner Together.
