Admiralty Pier won his career debut in August 2017 at Woodbine and subsequently finished third in the Grade 2 Summer Stakes and fourth in the Grade 3 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes. He closed out his 2-year-old season with his first stakes win, a victory from off the pace in the 1 1/16-mile Display Stakes on the all-weather surface at Woodbine.
Admiralty Pier ran third in the Grade 3 Kentucky Utilities Transylvania Stakes in his first race as a 3-year-old, but was unplaced in his final three starts in 2018.

The English Channel gelding got back on track in his 4-year-old bow with a 3 ½-length win in January 2019 in an allowance-optional claiming race on the grass at Tampa Bay Downs. Admiralty Pier raced primarily against graded stakes competition over the next 11 months without a top-three finish, but he halted his six-race winless stretch with a win in an off-the-turf allowance race in December 2019.
Admiralty Pier earned a breakthrough graded stakes win when he outfinished two opponents in a thrilling finish in a nose victory in the Grade 3 Tampa Bay Stakes Feb. 8, 2020.
The winning Kitten’s Joy mare Full Steam Ahead is the dam (mother) of Admiralty Pier. Full Steam Ahead is a full-sister to a pair of stakes winners and a half-sibling to another stakes winner.
