The final round of serious works for the 155th Belmont Stakes (G1) featured one of the headliners as Preakness Stakes (G1) winner National Treasure turned in a quick five-furlong breeze June 5 over Belmont Park's main track.

Alexandres' Il Miracolo breezed five furlongs at Gulfstream Park the morning of June 2 in his final tune-up for a scheduled start in the June 10 Belmont Stakes (G1).

Trainer Brad Cox revealed in a June 1 NTRA conference call with the media that in addition to Belmont Stakes (G1) contenders Angel of Empire and Hit Show, he would also be saddling Tapit Shoes in the final leg of the Triple Crown.
