Trainer Kenny McPeek has not confirmed the Goldencents colt will go on to the $2 million Preakness Stakes May 18 at Pimlico Race Course, but it appears he has come out of the classic win in good order and is on target for the second jewel of the Triple Crown.
Can Mystik Dan summon the same type of magic in the Preakness against what is shaping up to be a deep field comprised largely of newcomers? We’ll find out very soon!
