Where to Watch/Listen: Horse Racing Coverage for Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend

Horse racing action picks up considerably this week in North America as several tracks will hold important stakes over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Churchill Downs leads the list, winding down its fall meet with a five-day run from Wednesday, Nov. 22 to Sunday, Nov. 26. The scheduled races are highlighted by the Clark Stakes Presented by Norton Healthcare on Black Friday, Nov. 24, and a Stars of Tomorrow card featuring 2-year-old races on Saturday, Nov. 25. That card includes both the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes and the Golden Rod Stakes, which are points preps for the 2024 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve and the 2024 Longines Kentucky Oaks, respectively.
Racing from Churchill Downs will be broadcast on FanDuel TV, and that network will also show live racing from Del Mar, Gulfstream Park, Fair Grounds, and Woodbine as part of its usual daily package.
Action from Aqueduct is showcased on “America’s Day at the Races” on Friday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 26, airing on FS2.
Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
