The upcoming extended Christmas holiday weekend in horse racing is highlighted by the final prep race for 2-year-olds pointing to the 2024 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve – the Gun Runner Stakes at Fair Grounds on Saturday, Dec. 23  – and the traditional day-after-Christmas opening day card for Santa Anita Park’s winter-spring “Classic” meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 26.

The Gun Runner and seven other stakes at Fair Grounds on Dec. 23 will be broadcast live on FanDuel TV, and that network will also provide comprehensive coverage of opening day at ‘The Great Race Place’ on Dec. 26, featuring six graded stakes overall.

FanDuel TV will also show live racing from Gulfstream Park, Turfway Park, Laurel Park, and other tracks over the holiday weekend – save on Christmas Day, the only day each year when no Thoroughbred racing will be held in North America.

Horse racing from tracks around the world is available to subscribers on Racetrack Television Network (RTN), which can be livestreamed on all devices (computer, tablet and smartphone) and on TV via DISH Network, Amazon Fire and Roku.
