Starting this week, a 36-member panel of media members, horseplayers, and Breeders’ Cup World Championships officials are releasing a poll tabulating their votes on the nation's top contenders for the 2019 Breeders’ Cup Classic.

The rankings are determined by each voter submitting a 10-horse list with points assigned on a descending 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 order. Going forward, the poll will be released each week to gauge rising and falling contenders leading up to the Breeders’ Cup Classic, scheduled for Nov. 2.
