#10: New Star Newspaperofrecord Emerges in Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf

If racing fans want something to be excited about heading into 2019, look no further than Newspaperofrecord. Not only was the Irish-bred filly undefeated in her three starts in 2018, her competition couldn’t even finish within six lengths of her in any of those races. The most impressive of her three performances had to be in the World Championships when the best 2-year-old turf fillies in the world chased her in despair as Newspaperofrecord cruised to victory in the Juvenile Fillies Turf, evoking thoughts of other recent turf filly greats who’ve emerged in the race including Lady Eli and Stephanie’s Kitten.
