Poll: Best Racehorse This Century to Win Two U.S. Triple Crown Races

Pop Culture
From left to right: Smarty Jones, California Chrome, and Point Given all won two legs of the Triple Crown this century but came up short for a sweep. Was one of those three the best dual classic winner this century or was it one of the five others? (Coady Photography/Eclipse Sportswire/Coglianese Photos)

When we asked you who the best Triple Crown winner of all time was, and you answered: Secretariat won by a huge margin (pretty appropriate, given his unforgettable Belmont Stakes performance!)

Now we want to know: who was the very best horse of this century to almost achieve that lofty goal? Eight horses have won two legs of the Triple Crown since the year 2000 but came up short of completing the sweep, and now it's your time to decide who among them was the very best.

The poll closes at 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, April 21.
