This Saturday, April 6 is the marquee race date on the Road to the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve calendar, with three significant prep races scheduled: the $1 million, Grade 1 Santa Anita Derby at Santa Anita Park; the $1 million, Grade 2 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland Race Course; and the $750,000, Grade 2 Wood Memorial Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets at Aqueduct. Each prep offers 170 qualifying points for the May 4 Kentucky Derby, distributed to the top four finishers on a 100-40-20-10 scale.

NBC Sports will showcase all three races a two-hour broadcast on NBCSN from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Eastern on Saturday. Post times are as follows (all times Eastern): Wood Memorial at 6 p.m.; Blue Grass Stakes at 6:23 p.m.; Santa Anita Derby at 7:14 p.m.

NBC's live racing coverage will be followed by the third show in its four-part “Road to the Kentucky Derby” series leading up to the 145th run for the roses, airing from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Eastern on NBCSN. Ahmed Fareed hosts the live telecast from Santa Anita Park, joined by analysts Randy Moss and Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey and reporters Laffit Pincay III and Britney Eurton.

The new episode of “Road to the Kentucky Derby” features a visit to the home of Bob Baffert, trainer of Triple Crown winners American Pharoah and Justify, and a profile of Des Moines, Iowa-based Albaugh Family Stables, who are aiming to have a Kentucky Derby starter for the fourth consecutive year.

Supporting stakes races at Aqueduct and Santa Anita will be featured during a broadcast of "Fox Sports Saturday At The Races" presented by America's Best Racing, Runhappy and Claiborne Farm. Hosted by Greg Wolf, the live show on FS2 will include commentary, handicapping and racing analysis from a combination of FOX Sports, NYRA and The Stronach Group personalities, including analyst and Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens. The April 6 broadcast runs from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern on FS2, and 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on MSG, and will feature live broadcasts of the Grade 1 Santa Anita Oaks (post time 4 p.m. Eastern) and the Grade 1 Carter Handicap (post time 5:22 p.m. Eastern) among other stakes races.

TVG will also broadcast all races from Santa Anita Park, Keeneland, and Aqueduct as part of its comprehensive racing coverage. TVG is the go-to outlet to watch the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap Presented by San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino, which has a scheduled post time of 7:30 p.m. Eastern.

A highlight of this week’s radio coverage is Saturday’s podcast of “The Winner’s Circle,” presented by The Stronach Group. Hosted by Bram Weinstein and featuring new racing analyst Gary Stevens, the racing and betting variety show airs Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET on SB Nation Radio.

On this week's "The Winner's Circle," America’s Best Racing correspondent Dan Tordjman and handicapper BlackJack Fletcher review their recent trip to Kentucky's horse country, Dan and Gary Stevens preview the Derby preps, and Christina Blacker visits to discuss the #IAmHorseRacing social media campaign.
