On Saturday, April 13, the final two preps for the Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve will be held, led by the $1 million, Grade 1 Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn Park. The Arkansas Derby offers 170 qualifying points for the May 4 Kentucky Derby, distributed to the top four finishers on a 100-40-20-10 scale.

NBC Sports will feature live coverage of the Arkansas Derby on NBCSN from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern on Saturday. Ahmed Fareed hosts the live telecast, joined by analysts Randy Moss and Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey and reporters Laffit Pincay III and Britney Eurton. Post time for the Arkansas Derby is scheduled for 7:43 p.m. Eastern.

At Keeneland, the $200,000 Grade 3 Stonestreet Lexington Stakes offers qualifying points for the Kentucky Derby on a 20-8-4-2 scale. The Lexington Stakes will be televised by TVG as part of its wall-to-wall Keeneland coverage. TVG will also broadcast races from Oaklawn Park, including the Arkansas Derby.

Supporting stakes races at Oaklawn Park as well as races at Aqueduct will be featured during a broadcast of "Fox Sports Saturday At The Races" presented by America's Best Racing, Runhappy and Claiborne Farm. Hosted by Greg Wolf, the live show will include commentary, handicapping and racing analysis from a combination of FOX Sports, NYRA and The Stronach Group personalities, including analyst and Hall of Fame jockey Gary Stevens. The April 13 broadcast runs from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern on both FS2 and MSG, and will feature a live broadcast of the Grade 2 Oaklawn Handicap along with other races.

A special Sunday edition of “Fox Sports Saturday At the Races” is scheduled for April 14, focusing on Oaklawn Park and the Grade 1 Apple Blossom Handicap. The broadcast will air from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on both FS2 and MSG.

A highlight of this week’s radio coverage is Saturday’s podcast of “The Winner’s Circle,” presented by The Stronach Group. Hosted by Bram Weinstein and featuring new racing analyst Gary Stevens, the racing and betting variety show airs Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET on SB Nation Radio. The featured guest on April 13 is Hall of Fame jockey Victor Espinoza, who recently returned to riding after recovering from an injury.
