America’s Best Racing announced today that season three of “The Winner’s Circle” national radio show and podcast on SB Nation Radio will kick off this Saturday, March 23, with a feature interview with retired NFL player and Carolina Panthers Super Bowl quarterback turned racehorse owner Jake Delhomme. The 2019 edition of the racing, entertainment, and betting variety show, which premiered in 2017, is presented by The Stronach Group, which encompasses a group of world-class technology, entertainment, and real estate development companies with Thoroughbred racing and pari-mutuel wagering at its core, including ownership of Gulfstream Park, Maryland Jockey Club, Santa Anita Park, Golden Gate Fields, Portland Meadows, Rosecroft, and Xpressbet.
For the third consecutive year, the show will air every Saturday morning from 10 – 11 a.m. ET through the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on Saturday, Nov. 2, and will be hosted by former ESPN anchor and sports media personality Bram Weinstein. The show will also feature segments with horse racing analysts such as Joe Kristufek and America’s Best Racing personalities Dan Tordjman, Penelope Miller, and Blackjack Fletcher, among others.
In 2018, “The Winner’s Circle” featured a number of high-profile guests including ESPN/ABC Sports college football analyst and racehorse owner Kirk Herbstreit; New York Times best-selling author Jeff Pearlman; NBC Sports and Fox Sports horse racing anchor Laffit Pincay III; Colorado Avalanche star and racehorse owner Erik Johnson; four-time MLB All-Star turned horse racing analyst Paul LoDuca; host and executive producer of “The Scott and BR Show” on Mighty 1090 in San Diego, the CEO of tech startup Sided.co, a media entrepreneur, and horse owner Scott Kaplan; NBC Sports and TVG horse racing personality Britney Eurton; NHL on NBC Sports studio analyst Keith Jones; former University of Kentucky and Denver Broncos tight end Jacob Tamme; Hall of Fame jockey Javier Castellano; and trainer John Sadler.
