The Grade 2 Rebel Stakes at Oaklawn Park is always a marquee date on the racing calendar in Hot Springs, Ark. The Rebel was split into two divisions this year, making it an even more important prep for the May 4 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve that could send four or five runners to the first jewel of the Triple Crown. With the Rebel falling a day before St. Patrick's Day on a beautiful afternoon, the atmosphere was fun and festive at Oaklawn. Eclipse Sportswire was there to capture the magic.
